Virtual Demo - Elestrostatic Sprayers by ESS

ESS sprayers improve target coverage and use less spray material. This virtual demonstration shows the results. (Click image to enlarge.)

sprayersFirst, we setup the test spraying apparatus.
Black sphereElectrostatic spraying systemNext, we take a black plastic sphereand place it a set distance from the spray nozzle.

With electorstatics offNow, we spray the sphere with electrostatics turned OFF: 1-2-3-4 seconds. (The setup is the same; the black background was added to make the spray more visible.)

with electorstatics turned onFinally, we turn electrostatics ON, and spray a new sphere for half the time: 1-2 seconds. (All other settings are kept constant, so half the amount of material is sprayed.)
